Casa I News

Dear Families,

How lovely it is to start a brand new year! We are looking forward to a beginning with positive attitude and open mind that this year will bring us good health and the energy to accomplish many of our goals. We are glad to be back and the children are adjusting beautifully and back to their regular schedule. The children were excited and look forward to their work, friends and very important: their own routine.

Most of the children were eager to receive presentations, and I was very pleased with their response! We can already see very nice strides in work progress; we will continue to encourage repetition of passed presentations as well as introducing new learning experiences. Also, please take some time to welcome Poyraz, Bela and Mavi to our Casa as well as their family. We are so excited about this positive transition and the children in our Casa are delighted to help! Now, please take time and enjoy some of the photos of our busy students!

Reminders

  • Do not send sweetened drinks.  These drinks provide the body with no nutrients, read the labels carefully and stay away from these names: concentrates, high-fructose corn syrup, sucrose and dextrose. We will provide water and milk daily.
  • Tuesday, February 14th is Valentine’s Day! Your child is welcome to decorate a valentine box or a bag at home and bring it to school on the 14th. Homemade valentines are recommended: stickers, pencils, bubbles etc. Please, refrain to send sugary treats. We have 19 students including your child.
