Toddler Community News

What a wonderful year this has been!

It is truly a privilege to come to this school, JMS, and specifically to this Toddler Community every day. Getting to know each of the children and spending time with them- watching them learn new skills, build relationships, laugh with them, and share meals- are things that make me certain that I wouldn’t want any other job! We’ve had new children join us throughout the year and children move on to one of the Casas but this community of children that will finish the year together has become quite close: Mackenzie, Cora, Aarna, Carolina, Abby, Elsa, and Evan. I hope you will be able to reach out to one another over the summer and spend a little time together. I know they would each love it!

As hard as it is to say good-bye, the feelings of excitement and joy for these children as they take their next steps in development are even greater. I hope you all enjoy a wonderful summer. No matter what activity your family is doing together, remember- be present in that moment. Nothing else matters while you’re playing together, eating together, or just hanging out.

THANK YOU for sharing your children with us and being part of Jonathan Montessori School! I look forward to having some return to the Toddler Community and seeing others in school in their new classrooms next year. Please stay in touch!
