Casa III News

Dear Casa 3 families,

We have had a wonderful month! The children’s routines seem to be more established, allowing them to feel more confident and independent in our environment.
As usual, we try to take advantage of the wonderful weather and have been spending more time outdoors. The children have noticed the leaves changing colors and some of them falling to the ground, so we have had many conversations about the different changes we can identify in nature when the season is changing, and also what’s happening inside the leaves causing them to change colors and fall off the trees. This could be a chance for you to have a nice conversation with your child and point out the beautiful aspects of fall.

Reminders:
-- On October 29th we will be having a fall celebration. We will be doing face painting, games and pumpkin carving. As everything else we do in our casa, the children will have the option to choose to be part of the celebration.

-- Conferences are coming up on October and November 30th so please make sure you choose the date and time that works best for you.

-- I also wanted to share with you an article that explains some of the important aspects of the exercises of practical life. Sometimes parents get concerned when they hear their child is working a lot in this area rather than math and language. Practical Life has so many aims that will allow your child to be successful in our environment.

Have a wonderful weekend.
