JMS operates as a private, Not-for-Profit corporation that is governed by a board of directors that is comprised of parents and teachers at the school. All decisions are made in the best interest of the children.
Parents and staff are members of our corporation and are invited to monthly Board of Directors Meetings. An Annual Meeting is held each year to report to the membership the state of the school in regard to finances, program goals and achievements and to gather feedback from our membership.

Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at JMS from 6 – 8 p.m. Parents are welcome to join the open session from 6 – 7 p.m.

Our Board of Directors accomplishes its work through committees. JMS encourages parents who are interested in the decision-making process to join a committee. From the discussions, research and planning that take place at committee meetings, recommendations may be brought to the board for consideration.
