Summer Session 7

Identifying Animals, Plants and Trees of Minnesota

This week is all about learning how to identify the living things that surround us every day...animals, plants, trees, etc. Children will learn how to use field guides to distinguish between different species. They will use tracks, scat and other clues to find out which animals live around their school! We will go on nature walks to see how many different trees we can find. The most exciting part will be listening to the new language your child will acquire: Norway P:one, Pileated Woodpecker, Poison Ivy, Binoculars...the list goes on and on!
